Nonie's Place
Coming Summer 2023
For over 40 years, Covenant Care has provided grief therapy to children and teensΒ living with the loss of a loved one. This summer, we have the opportunity to host all of these services in one centralized location. We proudly introduce ππ°π―πͺπ¦'π΄ πππ’π€π¦, where kids join other children in a shared journey toward mending their grieving hearts.
The Story Behind the Name
βOur grandmother, affectionately known to us as βNonieβ lost her father at a very young age. She spoke often about her loss, and how the worry and emotions weighed heavily on her as a child.β - Jane Kugelman Lauter
To honor their grandmotherβs vision of creating a brighter future for the youngest and most vulnerable in our community,Β The Kugelman Family FoundationΒ has named Covenant Careβs new childrenβs grief house; ππ°π―πͺπ¦βπ΄ πππ’π€π¦!
A place full of laughs, hugs, encouragement, and love is exactly the kind of place that Jane Lauter, Sara Ryan, and the Kugelman family remember when visiting their own grandmother, Jane Kugelman, and the place we know ππ°π―πͺπ¦'π΄ πππ’π€π¦ will be for our communities' grieving children and their families. We are so grateful for the Kugelman family and are looking forward to opening the doors of ππ°π―πͺπ¦'π΄ πππ’π€π¦.
